A spectacular property with rich environmental values, near Glen Innes NSW, will be protected under a conservation agreement between the landholders and NSW Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Water. Kangawalla is home to the threatened spotted tailed quoll, glossy black cockatoo and endangered ecological communities. Wildlife such as the superb lyrebird and platypus are found in the forests and waterholes. Michelle worked with the landholders of Kangawalla and staff from the Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water to develop the voluntary Conservation Agreement which will ensure that this patch of paradise is protected into perpetuity.
